I love these guys! I took tons of photos back in my film days (30+ years ago)when I got to go to France! I never felt they were scary - more protective...

Have you read any books by Terry Pratchett? (English humor novelist-writes about Disc World) any way his gargoyls move around and eat pigeons :giggle:

the gargoyles in germany are pretty good too :D

i'll keep an eye out for terry pratchett books - don't think i've ever read any.

well, they say the monsters were there to scare off... evil spirits.

personally, i would think that evil spirits would love the monsters, not be afraid of them ;P

i have changed the name of the title now. thank you. :heart: it's funny that the name for gargoyle in french is basically the same as in english - just a different spelling and a very small different pronunciation :D
